The Athens Banner Herald featured an article on herpetology students from the Herpetological Society at the University of Georgia. The students were gearing up for a presentation at the Oconee County Library on the natural history of local amphibians. UGHS students continue to expand their efforts to affect conservation of amphibians and reptiles by improving public literacy, and the organization is a leader among student organizations in public education and outreach.
