Using Ecology to Conserve & Manage

A central theme running through most of our work is addressing problems related to the management and conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem processes.  To this end, we work on many problems that use ecological principles to understand threats and develop management strategies to mitigate those threats. We partner with many organizations to address issues of conservation need including Georgia Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, the Nature Conservancy, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Zoo Atlanta, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, and the Orianne Society.
